Hither is how
ane. Become a texture pack
ii. Open up information technology upwardly
3. Select all of the files in the texture pack after you lot have opened information technology.
four. right click on it and shrink it.
5. keep that finder and open a new finder window
6. User>Library>ApplicationSupport>minecraft>Texturepacks
vii. Afterwards you take opened all that up, drag and drop the nix file that you only got in the other finder from compressing the files into the texture pack folder.
8. Your Washed!!!!!

sorry i didnt reply fast cuz i didnt cheque this psot for a long fourth dimension merely anyways, you lot go to User>Library>applicationsupport>Minecraft>texturepacks. then yous use annal utility to make the texture pack into a folder so yous drag it into the texturepack folder

i normally practice it on a windows calculator simply merely got a mac, simply does the whole delet META IMF file still happen with macs?

HOW TO Get A TEXTURE PACK ON A MAC: (the easy style)
1. Click the download link.
ii. Open up Finder.
3. Go to Library->Application Support->minecraft
iv. Drag the texture pack folder into texturepacks.
v. 10 out of Finder and play MC.
6. Select the texture pack.
7. Enjoy!

It's said that you only demand to delete the MANIFEST.* (or something) inside the META-INF folder on Macs, but I usually leave the whole folder in without any problems

With the knew 1.vi.ii update you lot go into resource packs afterwards compressing all files into an archive.zip and drag the .zip file into resource packs
